Kathryn Lord | More to Books and More to Organising
Social media often receives bad press. One of the positive sides of social media is that it connects like-minded people and organisations. This guest post highlights the work of social media colleague, Kathryn Lord. It connects to my work that focuses on rhyme as the means to bringing word learning to life, from birth onwards. Kathryn’s focus is also on helping parents and child-care providers. With her extensive experience of child-care, Kathryn’s aim is to fire up parents and others to fire up children’s imaginations, using tips on sharing books and toys and organising the home for reading and learning.

With the right organisation,
You inspire imagination.
Put opportunities in position,
In every situation.
Whether fiction or non-fiction,
Use lots of books as an introduction.
Add different toys as an option,
Child-led themes for motivation,
Your home will support all their creations.
