Hi there! Born in Essex now living in Hertfordshire, my teaching observations and assessment together with educational and child development research, led me to produce Wizzy’s Words. A book of re-worked nursery rhymes for our 0 to 5s+ today. The book is also a useful resource for parents and early years practitioners, wishing to support their children, safe in the knowledge that the resource is based on validated language development data.
A number of children continue to enter school without the oral vocabulary for educational success. The difference between Wizzy’s Words and traditional nursery rhymes, is that the book contains the key oral vocabulary for preparing infants for reading and learning.
